V-CARE essentially operates at the grass-root level and our programmes are participatory and focus on the community, building their capacity for self-help and affirming the dignity and worth of all.
ľ WORKING TO BRING POLICY CHANGES
V-CARE works for changes in various policies and programmes for social welfare and devlopment with the government and institutional agencies.
ľ WORKING FOR HOLISTIC DEVELOPMENT
Our focus is on Institutional care and community service, community helpline, alternative education, vocational training, health, nutrition, women education, micro-enterprise, and emergency relief and rehabilitation.

Our strength lies in its capacity to network with government and other NGO¡¦s.

We encourage youth and adults in their income generation ventures by providing relevant training and by assisting them to improve the economic and social capacities needed to meet their livelihood requirements.

V-CARE empowers women through confidence and capicty buiding for their eqaul participation in ecoomic activities providing them with financial, social help.
ľ RURAL DEVELOPMENT
V-CARE aims at better life and justice for the poor and the marginalised communities in rural areas and their all round development. It seeks not only to relieve distress but also the basic cause of poverty and marginalisation. Through STEPS (a youth programme) we are determined to fill the gap between rural and urban areas and make our youth aware of the social and environmental problems faced by the rural communities through direct youth interventions and organizational placement system.
PROJECTS & PROGRAMME
VCARE - AAWAJ ¡V ACTIVISTS IN ACTION FOR WOMEN AID & JUSTICE
A collage programme to create awareness and sensitize the youth on Gender based violence and abuse, religious intolerance, physical-mental harassment, female foeticide, eve teasing, ragging, and crime against women. It provides complete help to protect women, human rights, legal help, as well as AAWAJ members directly intervene into the problem area to give relief to the victim and protect her from all undue pressure and molestation. It equips the students not only to protect themselves but also general public at large. With the support of highly qualified staff, lawyers of High Court, Police and other activists it has been a success to bring change in the society and to curb crime against women. A Rapid Action Team (RAT) is working to provide immediate relief and to protect the victim at the crime site.
The programme aims to develop, provide and set the following to achieve the core object: -
„« To protect, prevent, detect and curb the crime against women, gender based violence & abuse, molestation, sexual-mental harassment, road rages etc.
„« To provide legal aid and guidance to the female victim.
„« To intervene into the matter and save the women from all undue, unwanted pressures, situations and provide her with the immediate relief.
„« To put administrative system, police, legal system and the society on a same row, on a similar ground and become a coordinating chain in order to bring about the change and direct relief to the victim.
„« To raise voice from victim¡¦s side. File cases in the court of law and provide free legal aid.
„« To conduct awareness campaigns, legal aid camps, and peaceful march in the schools, collage, institutions, slums and at various public places and sensitize the youth and all.
„« To establish a central control room and helpline 24X 7.
VCARE-STEPS ¡V STUDENT TRANSFORMERS FOR EQUITABLE & PROSPEROUS SOCIETY
A collage programme wherein students are being mobilized and sensitized towards social issues and equip them with problem solving skills to facilitate their participation in social development action. This not only creates awareness amongst youth but also put them into social action movements where they actually become true members of the society. It includes organizational exchange of the fellow student volunteers in the rural remote areas as well as in the city throughout the nation.
It also provide the partner organizations with the future social activists and on the other hand it provide the students with the different terms and techniques, the issues and methods by which other organizations are working and fighting for common social issues. Students find it very easy to adopt learn with fun method building their qualities of leadership, sportsmanship, religious tolerance and patience through fun games, creative activities, theatre, media and art, and various other techniques.
In short the programme aims to develop the following skills and qualities in order to achieve our aims and objectives:
„« The ability to discover innate talents, abilities and qualities.
„« Personal and social responsibility.
„« A sense of their role and purpose in life.
„« Positive attitudes and ethical, moral values.
„« Sense to engage with personal and social problems.
„« The responsible decision making skills.
„« Development of leadership and teamwork skills.
„« Problem solving skills.
„« Developing social action programme such as environmental awareness and conservations, anti corruption campaigns, to popularize human rights as well as local rights like right to information etc. Crime prevention and relief.
OUTREACH PROGRAMME
☺ Educational services for children living in families below the poverty line in the slums of Delhi includes free books, stationery, cloths etc.
☺For the street and the orphan children an instant basic educational programme is running successfully on the red lights, parks and the footpaths of Delhi.
